Welcome

Hello and welcome to the Rugby Resources website. This site has been developed as a reaction to the long hours I have personally spent surfing the web and racking my brains looking for information and advice to help me and my colleagues in the running of our local rugby club. The idea for the Rugby Resources site is to provide a place where we can all share best practices and information to help us grow the game. Many of us work away in isolation within our clubs. It is my firm belief that life would be easier for all club committee members, volunteers, coaching staff and players across the Rugby Community if we worked together more effectively to promote the game and by default our clubs.

There are various ways in which you can reward you volunteers, committee members and players. Remember not all rewards need to be financial; there are lots of other ways in which you as a club can show your appreciation for all the hard work for little or no cost.

Recruitment:	Part 3 “Recognition”

No one likes to be taken for granted. This is especially true for volunteers who give up their time coaching, administering and generally helping out around a club. It is essential that the effort that these individuals put in is recognised and that they are supported by the club. “It costs you nothing to say thank you.”
